Myrtle Beach Piers

When you visit hotel BLUE you will definitely want to visit one or two local Myrtle Beach piers to either fish or to just enjoy the scenery.

There is nothing better than walking along a pier with the waves crashing beneath you as you watch the sun set, gaze at the beach or watch the water splash beneath you.

Many local piers offer rod rentals if you choose to fish and you have to pay to fish for the day. However, you do not need to purchase your own fishing license to fish from these Myrtle Beach piers.

Piers generally do not allow you to bring your own adult beverages aboard, but most sell cocktails and beers at their pier bars during the warmer months.

Many local piers also have live entertainment during the summer and make for a fun stop after the day at the beach or at our swim-up pool bar.

The two closest piers to hotel BLUE are 2nd Avenue Pier and Pier 14.

It will cost you $1 if you want to walk along the 2nd Avenue Pier and it is free to walk along Pier 14. Pier 14 is nestled on the north end of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and the the 2nd Avenue Pier is on the south end.

Both piers are very close to hotel BLUE in Myrtle Beach and are great for a hot summer night or a spring walk in the light ocean breeze. Be sure to check them out!
