Things to do in July 2015 in Myrtle Beach

July is a busy month on the Grand Strand. Not only are there plenty of Fourth of July events in the Myrtle Beach area, there are also many fun in the sun activities all month long.

Mustang Week | July 13 – 19, 2015

Come on out for one of the largest Myrtle Beach car events of the year. There will be a variety of activities taking place throughout the week including the Wheels of Destruction Thrill Show at 6 p.m. on July 15 at the Myrtle Beach Speedway and the official 11th Annual Car Show at the Myrtle Beach Mall on July 17. Although registration for the show is closed, you can still check out the many festivities taking place all week long!

Movies Under the Stars | July 3, 10, 17 & 24, 2015

If enjoying a movie outside while relaxing on a blanket or beach chair is how you would like to spend a July Friday night, The Market Common has the perfect event for you! With their free Movies Under the Stars you can enjoy an inexpensive night out. This month’s movies include “Hook” on July 11 and “Frozen” on July 17. Movies begin at dusk and are just steps away from many of the restaurants and shops that make up The Market Common.

Fireworks Shows | Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays

There are two nearby fireworks shows that take place throughout the summer that are not far from the resort. The 2nd Avenue Pier fireworks take place down by the Boardwalk on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. throughout July and into most of August. If you want to head out to Broadway at the Beach for a night out on the town, their fireworks take place on Tuesdays and Fridays this month beginning at 10 p.m. over their lake.
